Jock Carter – Executive Director

Jock is a founding Director and is responsible for the daily operations of the site in particular the supply chain interface between the port with rail, road and upcountry storage operations.

Jock has 20 years experience as a supply chain specialist and has held senior roles with a number of significant Australian agribusinesses including Hunter Grain (purchased by GrainCorp), Allied Mills, Cargill Grain and Oilseeds, AWB and Finemores Transport.

He was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2009 whereby he travelled through North America & Europe to research future opportunities for regional rail operations in Australia.

Jock grew up on a sheep property near Goulburn with a family livestock transport business that continues today. He graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Economics degree and also holds a Graduate Diploma in Logistics Management from Monash University.

Martin MacKay – Executive Director

Martin is a founding Director and is responsible for the strategic and financial management of the business.
From 2001 to 2007, Martin was responsible for corporate strategy and business development at Ridley Corporation, Australia’s largest stockfeed and salt manufacturer. He has also worked in mergers and acquisitions at  J.P.Morgan, London U.K. and as  a consultant for Adelaide Brighton, CSR and The MAC Services Group where he performed various roles utilising his expertise in mergers and acquisitions, business restructure, strategic planning and implementation.
Originally from Newcastle, he was raised and worked on a mixed-use property in the Moree district growing wheat, barley, sorghum as well as cattle and sheep. Martin’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Financial Administration from the University of New England and he is a qualified Certified Practicing Accountant.


Ben Cameron – Non-Executive Director

Ben has been a Partner of the Bentleys Chartered Accounting Practice since 2000, where he is the Managing Director and heads up the specialist Agribusiness Team. He provides specialist skills in taxation and business advisory, business valuations, due diligence and restructures, strategic planning and business diagnostics, commodity price risk management using futures and other financial markets.
Ben has family grain production enterprises in Central Queensland and Northern NSW, and has an inherent understanding of agribusiness operations and strategy.
Ben has a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment and is a Chartered Accountant.
